Egg roll




Ingredients:                           


* 10 egg roll wrappers

* 2 cups of green cabbage, 
   shredded and chopped

* 2 cups of shiitake mushrooms,  
   chopped

* 1 3/4 cups of grated carrots


* 1/2 cup green onions, sliced

* 1 tsp olive oil                                          

* 2 garlic cloves, minced                                                            

* 1 tbsp soy sauce

* 1/2 tsp of onion powder

* Salt & pepper, to taste


* Cooking spray


















Method:


1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. In the bottom of a large frying pan, add the olive oil and garlic, and place on medium heat.

3. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the cabbage, mushrooms, and carrots to the pan. Stir together for 3 - 5 minutes or until the vegetables begin to soften.

4. Then add in the green onions and saute for another few minutes, and then remove the vegetable mixture from the heat.

5. Spray the bottom of a large baking sheet with the cooking spray.

6. Lay out the egg roll wrapper on the baking sheet, and place two tbsp of the veggie mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Chicken Puf Pastry


















Ingredients:                                                             

4 ounces cream cheese,                                                                                                                    

softened 1/4 cup packed fresh basil leaf 2 cloves garlic, 

minced 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 package frozen puff pastry, 

thawed boneless skinless chicken  breast halves 1 egg,well-beaten



Directions:

1. Heat oven to 430 degrees F.


2Combine cheese, basil, garlic, salt and pepper in processor until smooth and basil is finely chopped.


3. Unfold both pieces of pastry carefully.


4. Roll out on lightly-floured surface to 14 x 10 inch rectangle about 1/8 inch thick.


5. Cut in half crosswise into 7 x 10 inch rectangle; repeat with second sheet of pastry.


6. Spread ¼ of cheese mixture lengthwise, in approximate size of chicken breast, across center of each rectangle.


7. Place chicken breast over, skinned side down.


8. Lift long sides of pastry to meet in center over top of chicken; pinch overlap and short ends to enclose chicken snuggly.


9. Trim away excess pastry leaving pinched overlap. 

10. Arrange seam side down, 2 inches apart, on a greased baking sheet; brush generously with beaten egg.


11. Bake until puffed and golden and chicken is cooked through, 18-22 minutes.


12. Note: Using Boursin Cheese in this recipe in place of the cream cheese is very nice, too.

grilled chicken burger




Ingredients



Directions


  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. Lightly spray a saute pan with cooking or oil spray over medium heat. Saute the onion with the garlic first, then the bell pepper, then the mushrooms, tomatoes and carrots, all to desired tenderness. Set aside and allow all vegetables to cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken and vegetables. Add the egg, bread crumbs and seasonings to taste. Mix all together well and form into 8 patties.
  4. Grill over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

Tasty Chicken Pizza




























Ingredients:


1. Instant Yeast – 1 tsp
2. Flour – 3 cup
3. Salt – ¾ tsp
4. Sugar – 1 tsp


Method:

First of all put yeast in 4 tbsp warm water and make frothy, then mix all dry ingredients and then mix yeast and make a dough with warm water, put aside until it has doubled in size.


Pizza Sauce:

Onion – 1 medium
Garlic – 1 clove
Oil – 3 tsp
Tomatoes – 5
Red crushed chilli – ½ tsp
Salt – as taste
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
Oregano – ¼ tsp


Method:

Take a pan, put oil and heat it up and put thinly chopped onion and garlic and fry until soft, then put chopped tomatoes, red crushed chilli, salt , tomato ketchup and oregano and mix well and let it cook till tomato mix well and become in tomato sauce form, if you need water, put a bit of water and cook until done, when done apply on pizza base.

For Pizza topping:

Chicken – 300g
Oil – 2 tbsp
Garlic – 1 clove
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Salt – as taste
Mushrooms – as you like
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Mozzarella cheese – as you need
Oregano – ¼ tsp
Pizza sauce – as you need
Onion – 1
Capsicum – 1
Red crushed chilli – ½ tsp



Method:

So Take a pan, put oil and heat it up, then put chicken and garlic and fry till chicken becomes in white colour, then put lemon juice and salt and mix well, when water is dry, put mushrooms and fry for 1 min and take it off the cooker, let it cool, then put cheese, red chilli powder and oregano and mix well.
On a floured surface, roll out dough and place on a greased sheet pan. Shape to fill the sheet pan, spreadpizza sauce evenly over pizza dough. Sprinkle mozzarella, chicken, onions, capsicum, cheese, and red crushed chilli on top. Bake for 12 minutes or until cheese bubbles in preheated oven 240C, 490F, and Gas mark 9. Chicken Soup yame




Ingredie:



  1. Put the chicken, carrots, celery and onion in a large soup pot and cover with cold water. Heat and simmer, uncovered, until the chicken meat falls off of the bones (skim off foam every so often).
  2. Take everything out of the pot. Strain the broth. Pick the meat off of the bones and chop the carrots, celery and onion. Season the broth with salt, pepper and chicken bouillon to taste, if desired. Return the chicken, carrots, celery and onion to the pot, stir together, and serve.
